Hello everyone,

I'm trying to build Chromium on Linux.

I've followed what's in this link : http://dev.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/get-the-code , but when I tried to run the command : gclient sync
It says that gclient is not configured.

How can i configure it ? please help

Cheers
Did you run the fetch command first?

The sync workflow is to run "gclient config
http://src.chromium.org/chrome/trunk/src" and then gclient sync.

It ends... it just takes time. If you are on an extremely fast network (able to download @ ~15-20 MB/s) it will take something in the order of 10 minutes. If you are on a slower network, can take something in the order of hours. You can check with iptraf (or similar tools) whether it's downloading something or is just stuck.

Hmm that will setup gclient to sync from SVN, won't it?
Bootstrapping chromium from scratch from SVN is going to be amazingly slow.
