Since Chrome on ChromeOS is built on much of the same frontend code as
Chrome on Windows, you may find if you're making frontend changes to
Chrome on Windows your changes have an impact to Chrome on ChromeOS.

It's actually very easy to build Chrome for ChromeOS directly on Linux
without having to build all the rest of ChromeOS. I put together a
page describing how:

http://www.chromium.org/developers/build-instructions-chromeos

and linked it from the main developer entry points on www.chromium.org.

Thanks to oshima and rginda for useful documentation/assistance that
helped me put this together.
