Recently, I’ve been considering how to minimize memory usage as much as possible for a constrained device.
As an optimization option, --no-zygote can reduce memory usage by about 8 MB when enabling the lazy (~1 s) sandbox in the browser process. However, I’m not entirely sure if this approach is completely risk-free.
In short, using --no-zygote under sandboxing (without --no-sandbox) should be fine, provided that sandboxing can be properly handled without the zygote processes.
