Hello,

I am currently working on a university thesis focused on browser caching mechanisms and their impact on web performance. I’ve been using the Chrome developer documentation, which is incredibly helpful. However, I noticed that the information about cache is quite high-level and I’m looking for more in-depth technical details, examples, or references related to:

How Chrome handles different types of caches (HTTP cache, service worker cache, etc.)
Cache eviction policies used by Chrome
Best practices for cache management in web development
Any related debugging tools or metrics Chrome provides for cache analysis

Would it be possible to expand the documentation with this kind of information or point me to any resources within the Chrome project that cover these topics in more detail?
