Clear your browser's Cache and Cookies.
Try using Incognito mode. If it works, try disabling the extensions one by one to check which one is causing the issue.
Try creating a new user and sign in using your Google account.
Run Chrome Cleanup Tool to eliminate the malware from the scenario.
Also, run a scan with the third party program called MalwareBytes which removes any malicious software from the system.
I'd also suggest you to toggle Use hardware acceleration: Go to Chrome Menu > Click Settings > Click Show Advanced Settings > Under 'System uncheck/check Use hardware acceleration when available > Restart Chrome.
