Hi All,

I modified the Chromium source code and have built a release version (Chromium.app) for Mac which is working fine. I would like to create a Chromium.dmg or even a .pkg file, so I can test installing my build and running it on other Mac's.

I have found that there is a pkg-dmg script, which seems to might be what I need to run to create my .dmg file. However, when I execute it with these arguments:
--source ~/Desktop/Projects/chromium/src
--target ~/Desktop/Projects/chromium/src/out/Default/Chromium

I get a Chromium.dmg file that was created, but when I open it, it seems to create a volume with all of my files from my source and Chromium inside there does not work. I have read that there is a build_app_dmg file, but this seems to may be outdated since I don't see this file in my project folder at all.

How can I distribute my Chromium app (Mac)

Thanks!

You aren't invoking pkg-dmg with the right arguments. Here's an old copy of build_app_dmg that shows the correct invocation. Also take a look at `pkg-dmg --help`.
