Hi All,

I am wondering about the future of Chrome Remote Desktop on Windows,Mac and Linux platforms as Chrome apps will be retired sometime this year. Would Chrome Remote Desktop support for these operating system be discontinued as well? OR are you guys planning to come up with either web or native apps for these platforms?

We have no plans to change our current platform support. We are hard at work migrating our Chrome app to another solution. Stay tuned for details.

Note that there is a system keyboard lock API in the works, which might be the only part left for a full web-based implementation of a remote desktop feature (at least for the client, as I think the server is implemented within the browser itself anyway).
