IoT in PWA or IWA

My question is: how feasible is it to implement IoT in a PWA or IWA? I did some research and found an Angular package called ngx-mqtt, but I'm not sure how useful it is, as there isn't detailed documentation available. From what I saw, it only communicates via the WebSocket (WS) protocol. Unfortunately, I can't test it properly because the brokers I'm using (MQTTBox, MQTTX) rely on the MQTT protocol, and I haven't been able to establish a connection.
Is there anyone with more experience on this topic who can help?
