Hi all,

I have just built a chromium release with some custom changes in the source code following the official Linux build guideline and it runs well. Right now, I would like to make a tarball so that I can move the compiled binaries around and run chromium from other places. However, the output directory contains many files along with the chrome binary. I wonder which are the necessary files for the browser to run and if there is a script for extracting files and making a release binary tarball? Thanks!

https://source.chromium.org/chromium/chromium/src/+/main:chrome/tools/build/linux/FILES.cfg?q=files.cfg is the list of needed files. https://source.chromium.org/chromium/chromium/src/+/main:chrome/tools/build/linux/make_zip;l=4?q=files.cfg&start=21 looks like it can make an archive using the files listed therein, but I've never used it and don't know if it works.
