Finding Bugs/Features to Work on in Chromium?

Hi everyone,

My name is Nathan, and I'd like to get started on contributing to Chromium. I already have a fully built checkout for macOS 26.4. However, when I look in the issue tracker, I see a good number of tickets already have CLs, even those that have the "New" status rather than "Assigned".

Is there a "Good First Ticket" tag or anything I can use to find tickets to work on?

One more thing, I'm trying to use CLion 2025.3, but it doesn't recognize the Chromium checkout as a project - any suggestions on how to get this running?

I tried to use the CLion setup guide here: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/main/docs/clion.md but it wasn't that helpful...

I don't use CLion, so I can't help you there.

You may want to start a new thread for the new topic, so someone with CLion knowledge might chime in.
