Chrome identity sample app failing

We've had a couple of reports of users unable to sign-in to Chrome Remote Desktop, and they're able to repro the same issue with the identity sample app. I'm happy to file a bug for this, but I'm not sure who owns that API these days; can someone point me at an appropriate owner?

FWIW, the chrome.runtime.lastError we get in CRD is  "OAuth2 not granted or revoked", whereas the sample app just logs "The user did not approve access". Another symptom is that the "Revoke" button in chrome://identity-internals has no effect.

+ Francois who owns the app I think. Not clear if it's an API issue or Chrome app issue.
