Is it true that chromium 64-bit is not available on Windows platform at the moment? When I attempt to compile it for x64, I got a lot of errors.

What about linux platform? The linux building instruction page seems to indicate 64-bit chromium is available:

64-bit Systems

Chromium can be compiled as either a 32-bit or 64-bit application. Chromium requires several system libraries to compile and run. While it is possible to compile and run a 32-bit Chromium on 64-bit Linux, many distributions are missing the necessary 32-bit libraries, and will result in build or run-time errors.

If it can be compiled as 64-bit on linux, why not windows?

The 64 bit version of Windows Chromium is under development.
See this thread for more details -

Speaking of which, is this page still up to date?

http://www.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/64-bit-support

If there is a way for developers to try out ongoing 64 bit support on
Windows, can it be added to this document? (I can't edit it myself so
I'm just asking.)

It is not up to date because it does not mention this work in progress.

I believe the linked thread has some instructions regarding building it, but not everything is implemented yet, so you might get an half baked browser, or a non working one.

Justin, can you elaborate?

The win64 build is fully functional and is on the waterfall with continuous integration and testing. You can build it with ninja using the following steps:
  1. Make sure your GYP_DEFINES include target_arch=x64
  2. Either resync, gclient runhooks, or run build/gyp_chromium
  3. Only the _x64 target directories work, so the ninja command line will be something like:
ninja -C out\Release_x64 chrome

Wonderful!

Can you add snapshots for this edition?
Add a chrome-win64.zip, say?
