Is courgette deprecated in favor of zucchini?

Hi,

I'm wondering if courgette has been deprecated in favor of zucchini. Newer versions of courgette seem to crash when generating patches: 1286318 - Courgette delta generation can run out of memory - chromium

Zucchini works fine, however, older Courgette seems to generate smaller patches than Zucchini (at least with minor changes to Chromium code base, are there any benchmarks for zucchini vs courgette?).

Courgette has been replaced with Zucchini for patching Chrome update, However, the BSDiff part of Courgette is still used by the component updater.

As for patch size comparison, did you compare compressed patches, which is what matters? FYI the command we use is

7z a -t7z -m0=BCJ2 -m1=LZMA:d27:fb128 -m2=LZMA:d22:fb128:mf=bt2 -m3=LZMA:d22:fb128:mf=bt2 -mb0:1 -mb0s1:2 -mb0s2:3
