Hi,

Does Chromium support adaptive streaming (MS Smooth Streaming, Apple HTTP Live Streaming, MPEG-DASH)?

It should, at least in Chrome (I am not sure about Chromium), the Media Source Extensions specification is mostly implemented.
If I remember correctly, YouTube leverages it and uses MPEG-DASH.

I can confirm Netflix uses MPEG-DASH adaptive streaming via browser MSE for Chrome OS.

Sasha,

Why use a proprietary solution when you have a standard one? Chrome implemented Media Source Extensions which is perfect for adaptive streaming on web. As mentioned in previous replies, it's already used by Netflix on ChromeOS and Youtube Movies for adaptive streaming.
