Hi, I've noticed that M86-LTS and M90-LTS titled CL is merged on a relatively old branches like  branch-heads/4240  in gerrit.

Are those branches maintained for a long term support?
If so, I wonder if there is any policy about which version to use and how long to be supported.
Thanks in advance!

If I understand correctly -
The long term support (called Extended Stable) is only for eight weeks.
The normal support (called Stable) is now for four weeks (down from six).

Phistuck, Mike, thanks for response.

I thought that 86-LTS or 90-LTS is different from Extended Stable because the official doc announced that Extended Stable will start with M94 and be maintained only 8 weeks.
(M86 is more than 6 months old)

I found a blog post about chromeos's new channel with 6 month update.

I guess those LTS branches are for this channel.
