Hello,

I've tried this in the past and have also run into the same issue on
Android. I had a similar issue
<https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-dev/c/y9cQPP94dWE/m/vAgaEVUvAQAJ>
on WIndows but that was resolved by disabling component builds. Since it's
disabled here, not sure why it's not working.

Re-reading that old thread, maybe try setting is_debug to false? That's
also mentioned here for
Android: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/HEAD/docs/asan.md#building-on-android

Hopefully someone else in group has some insights into why this isn't
working on Android or if there's better docs somewhere.

Regards,
Alesandro

Looking at the logcat you attached, seems like someone had nearly identical
issue in 2022, but it's unclear how they resolved it (if at
all): https://issues.chromium.org/issues/40852256

They suspected OOM but might have been red herring in logs.

Alesandro

Executive Summary

UTFN and a new integrated IP system represent a comprehensive vision for a
next-generation internet. The goal is to overcome the limitations of
traditional location-based protocols by building a network based on digital
identity. This new system aims to simplify resource access and link digital
resources to their physical locations seamlessly and securely. The UTFN
protocol allows access to services and resources via a unique identifier
(ID) independent of physical location, simplifying indexing and intelligent
analysis.

Benefits for Google

The adoption of this protocol offers significant advantages for Google:

-

*Enhance Internet Infrastructure:* Provides a foundation for improving
the internet's core infrastructure.

-

*Improve AI Integration:* Enhances AI integration by supporting smart
resource calls based on content, not just the file path. The system uses
semantic embeddings and similarity search.

-

*Test New Protocol:* Provides an opportunity to test a new, scalable
protocol on your platforms, specifically Chromium and Google Cloud.

-

*Strengthen Developer Tools:* The system's design is more efficient and
secure than current protocols, which could lead to faster response times
and improved security features for developers.

-

*Support for Emerging Technologies:* The new integrated IP system is
designed to be highly scalable and can accurately track millions of
devices, making it ideal for supporting IoT, robotics, and drones.

Proposed Next Steps

We propose a collaborative approach to test and validate this protocol:

1.

*Chromium Experimentation:* Develop an extension or prototype for
Chromium to convert HTTP/HTTPS links to UTFN, allowing for practical
experimentation within the browser ecosystem.

2.

*Google Cloud Deployment:* Deploy the backend servers and APIs on Google
Cloud to handle resource access and AI-powered analysis.

3.

*Integration Testing:* Conduct integration tests to monitor and evaluate
the performance, security, and indexing speed of the combined system.

Hi Josh,

Siso doesn't have an option to change the frequency of status updates.
IIUC, Ninja also doesn't have that feature, too.

Hi,

When split tab is activated, reload and close tab affects both tabs in
split tab.
Ex, "CMD + w" closes all two tabs in that split tab instead of closing only
active tab.
Is this intended behavior?

Thanks!

Great idea, Xiaohan! I've wanted it to be like this for years, both from
readability and writing perspective.

I left a comment <https://issues.chromium.org/issues/436274260#comment18> on
the issue regarding Code Search reference concerns which should be
solvable. Ultimately want this to go forward! :)

Cheers,
Alesandro
