This image is originally from
http://i.imgur.com/XgtJTMj.jpg. Refreshing the page does not help, the image still appears corrupted. However if I empty the cache (with clear browsing data), the image appears normally. However the symptoms eventually start showing up again. It does not seem to be caused by browser extensions since it still happens even after I disable all extensions.
I noticed an interesting pattern between the original image and the corrupt one. In bytes #82242, 82246, 82249, 145523, 145528, 145530, 333782, 333787, 333789 where they differ, they are off by 1 bit (e.g., 0xFF vs 0xFE). Not sure if this means anything.
Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce this issue in Chromium so far. Does anyone have any tips on how I can investigate further?
Thanks,
Steven
