cpufreq directory does not exist in WSL2

while I have followed instructions (https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/refs/heads/main/docs/linux/build_instructions.md)

I got error when I hit `out/Default chrome` like below

I figure out cpufreq directory does not exist in cpu0 directory. To solve I install cpufrequtil but not worked to me

this is my wsl version
ubuntu@DESKTOP-VGNF0O2:~/chromium/src$ uname -r
5.4.72-microsoft-standard-WSL2

how to I run chrome??

WSL2 is not a supported configuration for building or running Chromium. Unless you can find someone else who is running it you'll have to solve the problems yourself. Even if you find a way to make it run, your changes may not be merged into the main repository because it's not a supported configuration.

It is a ciopfs issue. It uses the kernel default ulimits upon mount creation.

The usual quick fix methods to up ulimits probably are not going to help with WSL2. You might try creating a mount helper.

The easier solution IMO is to virtualize an actual Linux install under VirtualBox, HyperV, etc. instead of using WSL2.
