ChromeOS RMA Shim HWID issues

Hello,

        I'm not sure if this may be a good place for this kinda discussion but my options are dwindling. I am looking for advice/help when it comes to RMA shimming, more specifically with issues that arise from the 'Write HWID' step. I work for a company that churns through chromebooks for school systems and that requires us shimming each machine. Specifically right now I am unable to shim due to an error '[ERROR] Test rma_meep_frt_nrft:GRT.RMAGRTFinalize FAILED: ERROR 06:44:07 HWID database 'MIMROCK' checksum verification failed' but usually it comes down to component mismatch issues. Really I'd be looking to connect with someone more knowledgeable in this field that I can learn the ins and outs of the HWID database. That way I can continue to fix these machines in an efficient manner.

if you're using an RMA shim, then you should have contact with Google support about the issue.
