Why some emails are arriving with re...@chromiumcodereview-hr.appspotmail.com?

This used to come with dev's email instead.

I'd say this is annoying.

When Rietveld sets the From: header on an email message, it is actually getting into a gray area of email forgery.  Due to that, there had been a problem with notification emails from certain contributors being classified as spam, making it impossible for them to collaborate on CLs.

So, a few weeks ago I added a user setting that allows Rietveld users to use the reply@ address.  The message you saw may be from a user who opted in to that.

Also, if there is an error setting the From: header, Rietveld falls back to using the reply@ address.  If you think that is the case here, give me more details and I can look into it more.

Thanks,
jason!

How come some chromium.org contributor is classified as being spam?

Can you make so that his name appears instead of the reply@?

It is very unfortunately to have to go to codereview.chromium.org just to figure out who is replying.
