I never heard of any plan for such a feature.

You can use remote desktop instead, or Citrix, to connect remotely to a Windows based system and run whatever you want. This is the only alternative currently.

if you can do it under Android with an APK, you should be able to do it under ARC++ in CrOS.  CrOS itself has no support for Windows programs today.

also note, this is the chromium-dev@ list.  you want the chromium-os-dev@ list for CrOS questions.

Short version: Someone got WINE working on Android and it works on Chrome OS.  Looks like the tech preview is being released today.

I haven't used WINE in ages, no clue how well this will work, but really cool to see people doing unexpected things on Chrome OS.
