New issue 130864 by pa...@hubbitus.com.ru: Rendom
net::ERR_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES errors
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=130864

Chrome Version : 20.0.1132.21
OS Version: Linux 3.3.7-1.fc17.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon May 21 22:32:19 UTC 2012
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
URLs (if applicable) : random (I think independent)

UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/536.11 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/20.0.1132.21 Safari/536.11

From some time ago, starting around month in the past Chrome became
unavailable load or reload pages randomly. In most cases it happened in new
tabs. I got error:
Error 12 (net::ERR_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES): Unknown error.

I've attach screenshot (It is on Russian, please say if I should reproduce
and reattach it on English. But I think its meaning already obvious).

What interesting, I'm very-very doubt it is system resource limitations
because at this time not so many tabs in Chrome opened. Now it 2 windows
with 10-15 tabs in each.

It is very annoying.

Please say how I can provide more info.

May be it relate to
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=65873&q=ERR_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES&colspec=ID%20Pri%20Mstone%20ReleaseBlock%20Area%20Feature%20Status%20Owner%20Summary

But I'm unsure. And also in that report very old version mentioned.

I've seen it very often today on
google-chrome-beta-20.0.1132.42-143534.x86_64 in Fedora 17.

I'm late to the party, but one potential cause of
ERR_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES is when a process requests too many resources at
once. Have you tried experimentally disabling your extensions? It
generally takes a lot of requests before this happens (~20 MB of headers, I
believe), but suppose a misbehaving extension could cause it.

Looks like the only other case we return that error looks to be when we're
unable to start a thread to verify a certificate.

Archiving issue (Cleaning up reports, and the needs feedback label was
added more than 2 years ago, without getting any)
