New issue 164277 by sch...@chromium.org: Pointer lock doesn't work over
chrome remote desktop
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=164277

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install chrome remote desktop (chromoting)
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-remote-desktop/gbchcmhmhahfdphkhkmpfmihenigjmpp
2. Initiate a connection between 2 computers.
3. Visit scheib.github.com/HTMLMisc/PointerLockAndFullscreen.html
4. Lock the pointer (Pointer Lock Target1 button)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- Expect: Cursor to disappear and moving the mouse/trackpad to send
movement deltas to the page.
- Actual: Cursor does not disappear, movements are sent, but some things
may not work such as clicking outside of web content area to switch tabs.
(may vary between platforms).

Looks like a feature request to support mouse lock mode in remote sessions.
I think it will be useful mainly for games. Chromoting client itself will
need to use mouse lock API and then send mouse movement events instead of
mouse coordinates.

It will be useful for VM-type applications as well. I think this is
basically the same as "support relative pointer motion" (bug 132613), which
is currently ice-boxed.
