Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:

Firefox 31.0 Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu Canonical -1.0 OK
My OS: Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit; all updates current
My machine: Lenovo H-535

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.added every audio player plugin/extension
2.Tried in Firefox; works properly
3.Contact Ubuntu help (not their build/problem)
4.Searched the web and applied lots of solutions without success.
5.I have Chromium and Ubuntu installed on two different 64 bit machines
problem exists on both in the same fashion

What is the expected result?
Audio connection will play in window


What happens instead?
no play as per enclosed screenshot


Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Unable to reproduce the issue with chrome 36.0.1985.143 stable on
Ubuntu12.04 LTS.

I updated/upgraded/installed Version 36.0.1985.143 Ubuntu 14.04 (287914)
Problem remains as described.
