UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/34.0.1788.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Turn on Google Now notification report.
2. Wait for the weather card to appear.

What is the expected behavior?
Show the correct temperature.
or show a setting to select correct scale.

What went wrong?
It shows the temperature incorrectly in Fahrenheit but does not say °F.. I
was very shocked when it said it was 46° since that is VERY hot for the UK
until I realised it must be °F not °C. We do not use Fahrenheit in the UK
or many other countries. I tried searching for some settings but I was only
given the option to allow or disallow notifications for Google Now.

Did this work before? N/A

Chrome version: 34.0.1788.0 Channel: canary
OS Version: 6.2 (Windows 8)
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0

Fiddling around with the settings on my iPhone and switching a few times
between Fahrenheit and Celsius made it work for me on the desktop too.

Lukas is right - even if it's celcius on your mobile/tablet, go back to the
weather card settings and re-select celcius and it changes over on the
desktop. Good find!

Mobile setting trick did not work for me.
This is a must have before the release version, fahrenheit measurements are
meaningless to the entire world outside the US.

The mobile trick 'did' work for me.
But what if I don't have a mobile? or atleast a Android mobile? Seems a
little silly putting the settings for a desktop browser notification on a
mobile device.

Seems to me that you can only activate Google now on a mobile, so if you
don't have either, you can't get it on the desktop as well...

Trying this workaround. Seems kind of silly. I think it's important that

@#11 Google Now weather tends to use the location from Google Now on your
mobile, so not sure what the point of that argument is (it works on both
iOS and Android anyway).

Google Notifications in Chrome require Celsius
Android mobile app is correctly showing Celsius, Windows 8.1 OS is proper
region/metric for measurement. Proper default homepage in Chrome Browser
(Region Canada) as defaults to wwww.google.ca and language settings in
browser are regionally correct. WHY CAN notifications in Chrome
Notifications not see I do not want, nor understand Fahrenheit?
