New issue 226003 by fedrix.LP: Windowless Silverlight in iframe problem
with mouse coordinates
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=226003

Chrome Version : Verze 26.0.1410.43 m
URLs (if applicable) : http://www.creasoft.cz/TestChrome.html
Other browsers tested:
Safari 5: Not tested
Firefox 4.x: Ok
IE 7/8/9: Ok
Opera: Ok

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to http://www.creasoft.cz/TestChrome.html
2. Try to click button in first Silverlight (windowless in iframe).
3. Try to click button in second Silverlight (windowless without iframe).

What is the expected result?
Button has "hover" style on mouseover and can be clicked in both examples.

What happens instead?
Mouse coordinates is bad in first example (by left corner of iframe), so
you can click on right button only in second example.

Comment #1 on issue 226003 by dougajmc...@gmail.com: Windowless Silverlight

http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=226003

We also have the same issue on an intranet site when our Chrome recently
updated from 25.0.1364.172 m (last known working) and 26.0.1410.43 m.
We have an Iframe which is offset centrally in the browser window. The
cursor position appears to be recognised in windowless silverlight exactly
the X offset away from it's position on screen, in that, if the iframe is
100px offset from the windows left edge, the cursor isn't recognised inside
the silverlight window unless it's 100px inside the left edge of the iframe.
The same offset issue occurs on the Y axis.
(See screenshot)

Maximising the window puts the cursor co-ordinates back to their correct
position.

Any advice/suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.

We have a silverlight application and it was working fine with the chrome
25.x.x.x version but after we upgraded to 26.x.x.x we are getting similar
cursor offset issue (as mentioned above).

We have iframe with the windowless attribute set on the silverlight object
container.
This is working fine with IE, Firefox and Safari browsers.

I can reproduce this issue. I have 10,000+ players on Facebook who can no
longer play their game using Chrome. I posted a news bulletin explaining
Google broke support in the latest release with a download link to
Firefox/IE. Thanks, Shaun.

If someone can bisect this to find out exactly when it was fixed, we can
find the change that fixed it and see if it should be cherry-picked to M26.
