(64-bit)
(also fails in 45.0.2454.101 (Developer Build) Ubuntu 15.10 (64-bit))
Is this the most recent version: Yes
OS + version: Xubuntu 15.10
CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64
Window manager: xfwm4

Behavior in Linux Firefox: As expected
Behavior in Windows Chrome (if you have access to it): As expected

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Chrome on Linux (Xubuntu 15.10 is what I'm using)
2. Go to https://jsfiddle.net/c8p24q6y/embedded/result/
3. Drag one of the list items

What is the expected result?
The ghost image for the dragged list item should have a transparent
background.

What happens instead?
The background is white.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot
and backtrace if possible.

The problem only seems to affect linux. I tried it in Windows 10 and it
shows the expected behavior. It also appears to work fine on a Mac.

Able to reproduce the issue on chrome stable version 46.0.2490.80, Beta -
47.0.2526.35, Dev - 48.0.2552.0 on Ubuntu 14.04 and Open SUSE 13.2. Issue
is a Non regression as seeing this issue from M34 builds: 34.0.1847.116.

Note: In M34 builds, Black background is displayed instead of a Transparent
Background

Correct me if this is the intended behavior.

Untriaging this so that it gets addressed.

Issue is not observed on Windows 10, MAC 10.11.1.

Issue has also been reported here:
https://github.com/RubaXa/Sortable/issues/674

Seems to only happen with a high-res screen.

Also able to reproduce on
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_draganddrop.asp

The white shadow grows whenever the mouse is moved

This occurs for me with 47.0.2526.106 on Arch Linux.

My display is only 1280x800, which isn't particularly 'high-res'.
