New issue 125022 by nhen...@google.com: Youtube videos swap red for blue.
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=125022

Chrome Version : 19.0.1084.240-r121971
OS Version: Ubuntu 11.10
URLs (if applicable) : google.com/chrome/multitask and all youtube videos
from chrome marketing and perhaps others....
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 5: n/a
Firefox 4.x: (will test next)
IE 7/8/9: n/a

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open google.com/chrome/multitask (or any youtube video from chrome
marketing -- i didn't try other videos yet)
2. Watch for that video Glen Murphy, if he looks blue it's not right.
3. if you are an internal google employee, look Glen up in the directory
and verify his profile photo is not, in fact blue. He also assures me via
email that he is not been cast in Avatar 3 :)

What is the expected result?
Normal video playback with proper color channels

What happens instead?
It appears red / blue channels are swapped. You can tell from the fact
that black / white are largely unaffected and the Google logo colors are
out of order and flesh tones are wrong.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

System is Ubuntu 11.10 with nvidia binary drivers running.

updating to Version 19.0.1084.36 beta
Seems to have fixed the problem. Glen is no longer blue.

My video drivers are up-to date for Ubuntu 11.10. I'd be hesitant to
update them past that --unless absolutely necessary--- since that can often
(in my experience) cause a lot of other things that expect a particular
video driver feature to work.

Comment #3 on issue 125022 by neil.hen...@gmail.com: Youtube videos swap
Note the version in the standard ubuntu repo is the 1084.24 version. They
haven't caught up. Somehow I lost the sources.list entry for the google
repo for chrome / chrome beta. I fixed that manually, and had to log out
and back in to pick up the new version.

Thanks!
