I am having the same prob. I go to a site that used to have the password
saved at. It doesn't auto fill it so I do and it asks to save it and I say
Yes and move on. The next time I go to the same site it's not filled again
and I fill it and it asks again if i want to save it and it doesn't
really...

I have only one profile I don't keep multi. profiles. Next I have cleared
all my cache and history and cookies and confirmed the cookies are enabled.
To reproduce the problem I just go to a site I have been to before to sign
in and it doesn't have my password.. so I log in. When I log it it asks me
if I want to save my password and I click yes. After I leave the site I log
out. Later on I go back to that sight and it hasn't saved my password even
though I told it to and I log in again and it once again asks to save my
password and I say yet AGAIN but it never does save it after multiple
attempts.

I did find my chrome was out of date the last update failed BUT i went back
and fixed it and it's not good but it's still not saving my passwords.

I got the same problem, both autofill and passwords are blank. Tried
clearing up cache/history, clearing up ALL data, reinstalling chrome,
deleting all synched data. Nothing worked. Still have the same exact
problem the OP (original poster) has.

Nothing Has worked So I Gave up & Downloaded an Extension That works Better
than Chromes autofill / pass save. its called LastPass and works great.
Google better start fixing alot of these issues quickly.

Rose .... As i stated above ^^^^ Chrome has yet to Fix this issue i have
done everything they have asked And nothing has worked.. So i suggest to
Everyone who is having issues with Chrome to use LastPass it is an
extension for chrome That works great and is just as safe as chrome to use.

it happened with after using gmail. I reinstalled chrome, it worked fine.
but as soon as i opened gmail, I got a msg stating my chrome was out of
date, ( which is some tech problem, as I followed the links here n there.).
and after using gmail my chrome stopped saving passwords.

yes the options are checked but passwords are not saved. and only one site
have saved username without password as i used it before using gmail.

the password is not saved in chrome/passwords. i got the save password
message but password is not saved in chrome

+vasilii/mkwst in case they have an idea how it could be possible for the
bubble to get into state 4 (which is
password_manager::ui::State::BLACKLIST_STATE, I believe) after the user
clicking on saving a password.

There used to be some clean-up recently. I removed
PENDING_PASSWORD_AND_BUBBLE_STATE. So the described transition
PENDING_PASSWORD_AND_BUBBLE_STATE->PENDING_PASSWORD_STATE->MANAGE_STATE is
correct.
isabelann1989, after "saving" you still have a key icon in the address bar.
If you click it you should see "Saved passwords for this site:" bubble.
What is the content of it?
Try to delete the password from the bubble and then click "Undo". Does it
appear in chrome://settings/passwords?
