Chrome has been complaining about a Norton plugin recently. I have disabled
and removed this plugin from Chrome but this error persists. Chrome has
been slow and sluggish for the past few days.

I haven't purposely updated/upgraded anything I know to be related to
Chrome.

UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.1
(KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/21.0.1180.60 Safari/537.1

Please let me know if there is any more information I can give about this -
dumps etc... (I don't know how to get that information which is why I
haven't attached any)

In a communication with the folks at AVG (my anti virus) they said an
update in Chrome was causing the issue with AVG. They recommended I
replace AVG with another AV as the problem was not being addressed by
Google. I uninstalled AVG, installed the new MS Antivirus and all was fine
for about 3 weeks. Now, same issue, and it's happening frequently. Chrome
- you are sinking below my "worth the grief to keep" baseline.

This is happening to me as well. Reinstalling chrome, uninstalling
LastPass, disabling Comodo firewall/avast doesn't help.

A few things I did before this problem started to occur:

I recently installed IOBit Uninstaller and removed a bunch of
completely unrelated programs.
I used a powershell command:
Get-childitem "C:\My Music" -recurse | ForEach-Object -process {if
(($_.attributes -band 0x100) -eq 0x100) {$_.attributes = ($_.attributes
-band 0xFEFF)}}
I installed Nvidia's newest driver (beta).
My computer was kind of buggy at this point (AeroPeek disabled,
drag/drop buggy, etc) but this happens if I don't restart my computer in
two weeks.
I installed the desktop version of LastPass.
I attempted installing another IOBit software but that failed.

I also tried restarting the computer a few times, but this didn't work. I
decided to use System Restore, but all my past entries seem to have been
deleted!

I checked Event Viewer and I have these two entries from ~8 hours before I
restarted my computer and began receiving the chrome.exe error:
