New issue 481398 by hichris...@gmail.com: GL ERROR: invalid mailbox name
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=481398

Version: 44.0.2383.0 canary (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10 (Technical Preview build 10041)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I'm not sure if this is WebGL related or just a general GPU issue, but I
could reproduce it by going to http://interactivehaiku.com/lifeisshort/ and
playing around with it for a bit.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In chrome://gpu, I get errors from just playing around with the page:

[7156:7152:0426/132356:ERROR:gles2_cmd_decoder.cc(11809)] :
[GroupMarkerNotSet(crbug.com/242999)!:2808D883B1000000]GL

and have incompatible texture filtering.

Here's the full text of chrome://gpu:

I can't tell if this is an issue with Win 10, my GPU, or just Chrome.

I've seen those reports in about:gpu myself and as a matter of fact have
several in about:gpu right now:

[1425:1287:0428/142204:ERROR:gles2_cmd_decoder.cc(11809)] :

Chrome/44.0.2384.4, Mac OS X 10.9.5. Not sure if I've seen them on Linux.

I'm not sure they're related to WebGL. I don't remember whether I've
launched any WebGL content in my current browser session and couldn't
provoke them easily on Windows with current Canary and
http://interactivehaiku.com/lifeisshort/ . If you can find more
reproducible reproduction steps we'll be happy to investigate further.

Sorry we didn't get to the bottom of this, but glad it's not happening any
more.
