@nasim.haque, thank you for trying, but you didn't answer my question, I'm
afraid.
It'd be nice if you could tell us which lines are ok and which lines are
not ok instead
of bringing up unrelated issues like text-shadow. You can file separate
bugs on those
issues.

I said it opens fine. Ok. I'll elaborate more.

I do not have all the fonts installed. It renders correctly for the fonts I
have. Again, the test is very simple. There
is no compound letter, no glyph, no vowel symbols.

I'm using Chrome build 5.0.375.9 dev on Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit.
Result same as Jamal919.
Chrome is having the problem with the SolaimanLipi font only, then?

This page worked fine before, but after I upgrade to chrome 11, it started
showing unusual behavior. I have attached a screenshot showing how it is
rendered on firefox and on chrome. All fonts work in the test html page
given by jshin. Using - 11.0.696.16 beta on ubuntu 10.10

When a Bengali font is "Bold", it appears as a box.

My machine has the following properties.
OS: Ubuntu 11.04
Processor: 64 bit
