Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install Google Dictionary extension
2. Go to http://www.chromium.org/ (any page will work) and reload the page
repeatedly.
3. Watch the memory usage increase in developer tools > timeline.
What is the expected behavior?
Memory usage is stable.
What went wrong?
After every reload the memory usage will increase.

mpcomplete@: If an extensions is able to make Chrome leak memory this
badly, even with using deprecated APIs, aren't there some Chromium side
fixes needed? Or is the extension ppl's take that the deprecated APIs are
so badly broken that this is normal?
