New issue 176831 by rancorto...@gmail.com: The Open Sans font for the
Scratchpad extension renders poorly on Windows 7
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=176831

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.22 (KHTML, like
Gecko) Chrome/25.0.1364.84 Safari/537.22

Steps to reproduce the problem:
Create a new note and enter any text in it.
This new bug is in reference to the old bug which has been 'fixed', yet the
issue is still happening:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=111547

What is the expected behavior?
It is expected that text renders legibly.

What went wrong?
The Open Sans font renders poorly and is hard to read. I have ensured that
the browser is not zoomed and that the Clear type text system of Windows 7
is configured properly. Other fonts, such as Times New Roman appear to
render clearly. Please either select a better default, such as Arial, or
have the ability to select the default font as an option in the extension.

The reason this is annoying is because even if you change the font of the
note you're working on then every time you add new notes to it or make
changes then the default font is used. Also, the title and note selection
use Open Sans and look terrible.

As a temporary work-around, please advise on how to manually change this
default by editing the CSS (or some other means).
Thank you
