New issue 233874 by
yves.goe...@gmail.com: popstate event is triggerd at
page load
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=233874
Chrome Version : 26.0.1410.64 (Offizieller Build 193017) m
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Firefox 20: OK
IE 7/8/9: n/a
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add an event listener for the window.popstate event.
2. Load the page and do no further navigation that could trigger the
popstate event.
What is the expected result?
popstate is not triggered; only after the user really navigates somewhere
in the virtual history.
What happens instead?
The popstate event is triggered immediately. This is entirely useless
because there is no state to pop. The page is loaded for the very first
time, how can there be anything on the stack already?!
