Chrome Version : Google Chrome 38.0.2125.49 - beta
Platform : 6158.21.0 (Official Build) beta-channel daisy

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. add Chinese IME from chrome://settings-frame/languages#language
ex: add Chinese(Simplified) and check the "Pinyin input method"
2. enable Chinese IME
3. enter "d" on the omnibox and check the Chinese candidate window

What is the expected result? What happens instead?
The candidate window opens and displays the list words slowly. White blank/
blink is observed on the candidate window temporary.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Works fine in Findinpage, the other textfield area.

I strongly think this is related to omnibox, because IME doesn't treat
omnibox specially.

This issue is for M38, now M39 is stable.
