New issue 339416 by
matija.j...@gmail.com: Silent printing with
--kiosk-printing argument not working as expected
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=339416
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like
Gecko) Chrome/32.0.1700.77 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Run with --kiosk --kiosk-printing
2. Try to print (window.print() or Ctrl+P)
3. Shows printer dlg (ignores --kiosk-printing parameter)
What is the expected behavior?
To show a flash of the print dialog for ~1 sec.
What went wrong?
Chrome opens in kiosk mode (full screen) but when I send programmatically
or with Ctrl+P it opens chrome preview dialog and doesn't start to print to
default printer without manually pressing print button.
So it ignores --kiosk-printing parameter, but behaves accordingly to
--kiosk parameter.
Print preview dialog appears and DOES NOT print as soon as it loads.
I tried on latest Chrome on Windows Vista and there was same problem.
Started in kiosk mode but it ignores --kiosk-printing parameter
Did this work before? N/A
Chrome version: 32.0.1700.77 Channel: stable
OS Version: Debian 7
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0
