New issue 152444 by marc....@gmx.net: A breakpoint has been reached
0x80000003
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=152444

Version of Google Chrome: 22.0.1229.79 m
Version of MSI (if applicable): 65.51.16463
Using group policy settings? Yes

Policy used: "Set user data directory"
= "${roaming_app_data}\Google\Chrome\User Data"

Repro case:
1. Start Google Chrome Banana Software
2. Exception is shown
3. Try to open Extension Gallery, Loads forever.
4. Open http://www.adobe.com/de/software/flash/about/, Flash Plugin hangs
and stopped working.

You guys said Version 22 will support Roaming Profiles. This is still not
working.

@leocor: RDS is not supported yet. Only mounting roaming profiles locally
on the client machine works. Please follow bug http://crbug.com/79091 to
track progress on using RDP environments.

@marc: Please open about:version and about:policy and paste here the
output. Possibly anonymizing sensitive information but please preserve the
formatting of any paths and policies present.

${roaming_app_data} is an UNC path. This is NORMAL under Windows. You need
to support UNC paths in your buggy product. This is how Windows works.

I get this too, but only on our Win 7 machines - Vista and XP work fine.
Using the Enterprise msi, various policies set including "Set user data
directory" = "${roaming_app_data}\Google\Chrome\User Data"

The error occurs on launch, but despite the "click OK to terminate Chrome"
the application stays open and appears to function normally, including the
roaming data.

I have this same issue. Folder Redirection with AppData and following the
same policy listed above. Identical error. This is on Windows 7 with Google
Chrome deployed MSI.

This is fixed and the fix should arrive with Chrome 24. Actually the main
discussion on this fix has been done on bug 84045 so I am merging this bug
in there to avoid confusion.
