Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open terminal
2. google-chrome
3. Chrome starts up → disappeared

What is the expected behavior?
Chrome start up & works proper

Google Chrome 23.0.1271.97 is working except HTTPS/SSL -function.

When clicking to settings 'managing certificates' google-chrome stops
abruptly.

Logging in to mail.google.com → "This Web page is not available"

I'm trying to understand why you copied libmozsqlite3. That shouldn't be
necessary at all, unless it's part of the Belgian eID bits.

The only way to install google-chrome was to make several new maps in the
directory /opt/google/chrome
→ lib.targe → tls → i686 → sse2 → cmov
→ /opt/google/chrome/lib.target/tls/i686/sse2/cmov

Running strace google-chrome : This extra folders with associated files
were created.
the file libmozsqlite3.so was copied to
/opt/google/chrome/lib.target/libmozsqlite3.so

2013 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I doubt whether the problem with google chrome is caused by Adding beid
pkcs11 library http://code.google.com/p/eid-mw/wiki/ChromeLinux

I fear that it is going to be a complete new installation of ubunt 12.04.
