Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chromium
2.

What is the expected behavior?
Chromium will open normally

What went wrong?
Chromium does not open and displays the message: The procedure entry point
chrome_redirects.CreateFileW could not be located in the dynamic link
library chrome_elf.dll

I have the same issue now using the latest canary version on windows 7.

I was using it before closed it and stopped working I uninstalled it and
installed it again and I am still getting this error.

I tried to open Canary this morning and received the same message. I
uninstalled/reinstalled and received it again.

Same issue for me as well. Win 7 x64 Chrome canary(not sure of the

You can rollback by going to the Application folder and changing
old_chrome.exe to just chrome.exe (after making chrome.exe be
new_chrome.exe).

You can rollback by going to the Application folder and changing chrome.exe

starting up Chrome Canary Build version 34.0.1801.0 the next time AFTER
having downloaded , installed, and run first time:
