Currently there's a workaround by supstituting Russian dictionary with
handmade
Ukrainian one:

Therefore as far as Ukrainians usually need both of them its a bad and
temporary
solution for those who write mostly in Ukrainian.

Of course need to support both of languages Russia and Ukraine. I think
Google must add
Ukrainian as official language in Chrom spellchecker.

Guys, you are starring the wrong issue (# 30768). You should star the issue
40340, bacause it has been recognized by spellcheck moderator
hb...@chromium.org, as well as has been put it bucket 6 (which means it
will be implemented in Chrome ver. 6.x.x.x)
Коротше кажучи, хлопці, просто шоб не було так шо всі позначають зірочкою
цю issue 30768, а модератори перев. правопису перевіряють лиши issue 40340.
Це не ефективно
