Chrome Version : 9.0.597.94 (73967) Built on Ubuntu 10.10, running on
LinuxMint 10 KDE
I have installed Linux-Mint 10 KDE on a separate partition alongside
Linux-Mint 10 Gnome. Both installs share the same /home directory, which
has never caused problems in the past. Yesterday I installed Chromium on
the KDE install and receive the message below each time i try to start it.
Error Message;
"The profile appears to be in use by process 2266 on host ian-Mint. If you
are sure no other processes are using this profile, delete the file
/home/ian/.config/chromium/SingletonLock and restart Chromium."
ian-Mint is my Gnome install which should have no running processes when
I'm using the KDE install. I have done a file search for the quoted file
and am unable to find it. Chromium still runs fine when i use it in Gnome..
What steps will reproduce the problem?

i have this issue on a single user system, i cant make any sense of it, i
get on my netbook (which the hostname is set by meego as some jibberish)
that mark-desktop is using the profile, i dont have another hostname or
user on this system,
