Comment #6 on issue 67514 by the...@chromium.org: header and footer
missing when printing (URL, date, page x of y)
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=67514
FYI, I filed bug 69337 for adjusting margins. Making this bug for
headers/footers. We will likely implement margins before headers/footers.
Issue 80903 has been merged into this issue.
And in 11.0.696.68 release, they are always turned on and can't be turned
off!
Again, a merge that doesn't make sense (my issue 82262 into this one). Why
not a new issue:
"Headers / Footers unable to be toggled on or off. On by default"
It doesn't need to be rolled into print preview, who cares about print
preview anyway? Obviously it's easy to have them and to not have them,
because various versions of chrome have shipped with and without. Just put
a toggle in the bloody options!
Last month the header and footer printed...today it did not... please help!

One of the main reasons I print a web page is as a means of locating that
page again in the future. Without the page printing the URL it is
impossible. Now, I will have to go back to using a different browser until
URL headers and footers are again an option.
wildland, that's what bookmarks are for. Professional invoice printing from
web based systems is a genuine reason for no header/footer.
