Minimize Chrome App do Tray

Hi, i need create a Chrome App to use in Windows and Mac OS. Is possible do the app minimize in tray (in Windows)?

There is no such API exposed directly, but if you want your app to periodically check server or do some other periodic or 'on demand' activity, it can use background page that registers for events and then loaded/executed when event happens. It can wake up on things like Alarms or PushMessaging for example.
