This same thing is happening to me, but I don't have the apps installed (I've removed them in order to find the listings in the store). I've also tried searching from a different browser.  I've sent email to chromewebstor...@google.com about 24 hours ago but haven't seen a response (not sure if that email is even valid but I'm not sure what else to try).

We're having a similar issue to other people in this thread. Our app - Contactzilla - has been trending in the store for a while and getting us a reasonable amount of users every day. In the last week it seems to have dropped off, almost completely. If you search for Contactzilla it doesn't appear (never mind for a more generic search like "contacts").

What to do? Who to talk to?

We have a known issue in the store related to search for some types of items. The team is working to fix it, and we'll update the forum when the fix is live.

It looks like your item is listed as only supporting en-GB as its language? That will restrict the locales that it shows up in for search.

Applications/Extensions are now filtered based on language that you got "auto" selected in your account and that makes store completely unusable, because there are almost 0 applications in our language. 

I hope Google fixes this shit soon.

I need help. I am trying to add/install some apps from the chrome app store and it doesn't let me. Keeps saying there is a network problem and I don't know what's that about. everything else is working just fine. Ever since this update things haven't been the same. Someone once told me, "if it ain't broke don't fix it." I think that goes for Google Chrome as well.

But generally, it sounds like you're running Windows. If so, then you probably have malware of some kind that is working to stop you from changing your system configuration. That would include stopping app/extension installation and updating. Remove the malware, if possible (it might not be possible depending on its sophistication).

Really annoying, chrome store should drive users searching your extension/app to what they are looking for.

The latest, most recent update to the webstore search functionality seems to have downgraded "chrome extensions" to second class citizens, beneath "Chrome Apps"

as the default search only displays results from the Chrome Apps list. In order to search through the Chrome Extensions list, you need to click the "Extensions" tab, after doing an initial search. This doesnt seem to be a very good user experience for me, as many users will not even realise they need to click the tab to change the search parameters.

For example if a user goes to the webstore and tries to search for the "FB Purity" extension, using the search box on the webstore homepage, the extension doesnt appear in the results, unless the user then clicks the "Extensions" heading, i think most users wont even realise they need to do that, they will just think the extension is not there, because previously the search results would have shown the extension.

There is also no way to specify in the initial search that you just want to search for browser extensions, this should be fixed IMHO.

+1 to jammm and Vlad. I find it pretty upsetting that when users search for the exact title of my Chrome extension, no results show up. This isn't only misleading to users, it's actively inconveniencing them. Why are Apps listed first- before the extensions- but developers like me can't submit new apps to the store?

It seems as though only a priviledged few have listings in the apps- but are mostly bookmarklets to their homepages ie. webcamtoy.

I am experiencing a slightly different skew on the issue. I published (and since republished numerous times) an app some weeks ago in the chrome store. It is searchable and listed in the "google drive" collection, however it isn't also listed in the "office applications" group it should be. Really? Great. Thank you for trying and the prompt reply. I had asked several people to have a look...

So an app appears in some places like the collection but not the main group listing if it is installed. Seems a little inconsistent.

I wonder, how can you track the progress of an app up (or down) the group listing as a developer if you can't see it?

How can a user get back to the app listing to write a review or post feedback? I guess they would need to search, but that seems a little unfriendly.

I have Motorola cameras that in order to view the cameras, it requires to have the Hubble Apps , the continuing issues, I have been having is that, I keep refreshing The HubbleApp every five minutes in order to keep watching my cameras; I wish you could develop a much better/stronger HubbleApp, or another App that could support the Motorola cameras, thank you.

Installed applications are still listed in the Popular and Trending views, and will show up in search if a user searches for the application by name.
