Unable to add extensions or themes from the Chrome Web Store

Hello,

I've been trying to install extensions and themes for a while now but all that happens is I get a box that says NETWORK_FAILED. I've tried refreshing the page, and logging out then back in again, neither have worked. Can someone help?

Hello Tom,

I've seen this a few times, but would really like to figure out why it happens. The solution has been to uninstall and re-install Chrome. Once you do this, you should be able to add extensions again.

1.) Uninstall Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95319?hl=en 

NOTE: When you do this, make sure to check the box that says: "Also delete your browsing data"

2.) Reboot your computer 

3.) Reinstall Google Chrome: https://www.google.com/chrome/#eula

If you have any insight as to why this happened, I'd love to hear it.
