Hi,

why does this web store does not work on an iPad or iPhone?

Although Chrome is installed I get the message:
"Your OS is not supported. You can use it only with Windows, Mac or Linux. ..."

I expected that it will work on any device, where a Chrome browser or any browser (supporting HTML5) is available?!

Cheers!

There is no support for Chrome applications/extensions in the mobile platforms at the moment.

I suspect that on iOS - they will never be supported, because Chrome for iOS is just a wrapper around Safari with additional synchronization/network features.

Please, keep the list as a CC recipient so others could benefit.

I believe there is no easy way to do that currently, if any. Your best shot could be running Chrome with a command line flag, but I am not sure how to do that under iOS (if it is even possible
).

How to get Chrome iOS to use a different proxy than the system's? In the desktop versions, I had to use an extension to do that.

Just tried on a friend's Android phone. Chrome Web Store doesn't work there either.

Does anyone know someone who is in charge of the development pipeline?

You asked about iOS before, but the answer is pretty much the same.

Like I wrote in an earlier post in this thread, Chrome extensions and applications are not supported in mobile platforms.
Command line flags should be supported, however, I am not sure how to activate them.

The Chromium project is in charge. chromium-discuss is probably more suitable for this discussion.
