Hi,
I want to delete my uploaded chrome extension from Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard. Can you answer me, how to delete directly my own extensions from chrome dashboard?

I believe you need to unpublish it first, then you can delete it.

That used to be the case. It no longer is. Because the delete button completely blocked that crxid from ever being used again, they didn't communicate that well enough, and some people got themselves in trouble. However, they really should add a hide button. And actually respond to the this mailing list in the first place.

I haven't tried to delete an extension in a while, but I think the delete button used to be hidden in the page. You could manually delete it from the console though. However, like Scott said, once it's gone, that extension ID can't be used again.

If you want to try it...

performAction('PUT_YOUR_EXTENSION_ID_HERE', 'DELETE');

No idea if it'll still work. You can just run it in the console of the Developer Dashboard, though.

If Michael or Scott would have paid attention to this thread and the other related thread here: https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!topic/chromium-apps/3UkyoekLeKE they would have realized that Francois posted a picture of the Delete button from this month, not from back when this was publicly available.

I was aware they removed this option, but these two threads were centered around Francois posting this fresh image. So any new information about the availability of this function in present times is welcome. I repeat, this is not a resurrected thread.

On another thread (https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!topic/chromium-apps/3UkyoekLeKE), we've found out that extensions/apps that violating policy were not "deletable".
Is that your case?

I'll let you know when I unpublish an item, nut I suppose it does not work for me as I recently had unpublished items and no delete link. Also valid for new virgin items, never published. I'll post a picture when I'll have a new item

Any news since 2014 year?
I committed by mistake the extension into my personal group, but it should be in company one.
The extension was never published or used at all and I want to delete it completely.
How can I do it?
