• ALT+D for address bar, could type, but NVDA does not provide any
feedback when using left/right, CTRL+LEFT/RIGHT, or BACKSPACE.
• Google.com, type in search query, ENTER, NVDA does not exit focus
mode and go into browse mode. Must press ESC to manually switch from
focus to browse mode.
• Google.com, NVDA+F7 for elements list, type “sign”, ENTER on sign in
link, and sign in page will not load.
• Gmail.com, E to User name edit field (NVDA speaks just “edit”),
ENTER to go into focus mode, type in user name, NVDA-UP ARROW to read
current line (field will be blank), TAB to password field (NVDA is
stuck in user name field). All of this results in inability to sign
into Gmail.com
• Blackboard.bpcc.edu: ARROW, TAB, or NVDA+F7; page is blank to NVDA,
but is present visually.
• CourseSmart.com, TAB, ARROW or NVDA+F7, select any link, and ENTER.
Chrome will not load page.

Using latest Canary build of Chrome and NVDA's latest snapshot with
Windows XP SP3. I will report any new findings to chrbug.com as suggested.
Problem: NVDA and Chrome have issues on facebook.
1. The user is able to see the number of notifications, but hitting
Enter on it does nothing. Using NVDA+F5 to refresh the page confirms
the notification panel isn't activated.
2. When moving around and trying to update your status, the "what's on
your mind" edit field is viewable, but hitting enter to go into focus
mode to fill out the field acts strange. NVDA goes into focus mode but
reviewing text that was typed is not possible, even when exiting focus
mode. Also, the "share" button to update status is not visible to
NVDA.
Expected behavior: arrow or use quick navigation keys to move to the
status edit field, type text in, and be able to review it with the
arrow keys. When done, tab to the "share button" and be able to
activate it.
Problem: Some text on webpages is not visible when using the arrow
keys to navigate a page. Examples of these can be seen in Chrome's
options and Gmail's basic HTML view. These controls mostly read with
their proper lables when using the NVDA quick navigation keys.
Quick example/steps:
1. Activate Chrome's options while NVDA is running.
2. Arrow up and down the page. You will hear "tab selected, tab, tab."
Moving down the page more will land you on some radio buttons that
have no labels.
3. Go to the top of the page with ctrl-home, then hit the letter R to
move by radio button. The labels for the buttons are now spoken
correctly.
The part that won't read at all is in Gmail's basic HTML view, the
main "Gmail by Google" heading/link doesn't read, it just says
"heading link." This doesn't read even when using quick navigation
keys.
Problem: NVDA doesn't always refresh pages when Chrome loads them.
This seems to be most prevalent when after filling out a form and
pressing enter to submit it (e.g., logging into websites etc). Most
pages load fine and automatically start reading as expected, but some
won't and you will have to press NVDA+F5 to refresh the NVDA virtual
buffer.
If something is unclear feel free to let me know, and I can clarify.
Thank you for making Chrome accessible!

yes, I'm aware that I can file issues directly to the Chromium bug
database at crbug.com. There are several reasons that I am posting the
bugs I'm finding here:
1) confirmation by developers/engineers that these are Chrome issues,
either known/new, and/or see if they can be reproduce;
2) I don't see a way as an end-user how to set feature=accessibility
when filing bugs, which I think is very important, as there are lots
of bugs, and I don't want to see these accessibility ones lost in the
stack;
3) Are there extra info required before I make formal reports?
Thanks,
Kevin
I am able to reproduce:
* Chrome options, UP/DOWN ARROW, NVDA will report tab and radio
buttons, but neither of these have proper labels. When navigating with
letter R, labels are spoken properly. While quick nav, R helps for
radio buttons, there is nothing that will make tabs read properly.
* Gmail.com shows nothing, even after logging in, NVDA+F5 to refresh
document content does not help. ARROWS, TAB, and quick nav all report
blank, show an empty buffer.
* NVDA does not always refresh buffer hwen Chrome loads them, such as
Google.com, sign in link, nothing gets loaded for NVDA. Focus is still
on sign in link. Can you please provide examples of where you are
seeing NVDA and Chrome buffers not be insync?
Thanks,
Kevin

That was my point. When signing into gmail, NVDA's buffer is either
empty or out of date. This doesn't happen for all pages though, but I
have seen it in places I have to sign in and fill out forms etc.
