Known list of chrome and nvda bugs

Hi,

I am looking for any known list of issues or bugs that screen reader users might have by using Nvda and Chrome combo. In case any of you have such a list, please share the source.

Hi Aparna,

I'm not aware of a good list of major user-facing bugs, but both Chrome and NVDA have public bug trackers that include everything reported by users or tracked by developers. You can find Chrome bugs that mention NVDA here: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/list?q=nvda - and NVDA bugs that mention Chrome here: https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+chrome

Note that many of those bugs might not actually be bugs that affect Nvda+Chrome users, they'll just be any bug that mentions those keywords - but it's a good start.

If you modify the searches to see closed bugs you'll find that there are lots and lots of bugs that have been fixed on both sides.

Hi Aparna,

We have a CRBug label "NVDA-specific" for bugs that only apply to NVDA and don't reproduce with other screen readers such as JAWS, ChromeVox or VoiceOver.  We only started using this label late last year, though, so NVDA specific bugs before then haven't really been disambiguated like this.
